"The relationship is the arc of the show and they won't get together until the end of the show and that's it. We don't get to see the normal day-to-day things..." So true. I can count on one hand the number of shows with a LGBTQ couple that gets together early in the series and then the writers actually do something with their relationship rather than coupling them up at the end. Wynonna Earp and Legends of Tomorrow are the two best examples of this.
