I just found out that Darcy's gender identity story, which isn't in the comics at all, is actually due to Kizzy Edgell's own recent exploration of it, which at the moment involves he/him pronouns. I'm very interested to see if Season 4 continues in that vein.

I did not expect how especially this season would hit very close to home. It definitely made me reflect on my younger years and it definitely helped gain some much needed perspective. This was definitely inspirational to say the least.

*comic spoilers* in the comics volume 5 ends with them talking about nicks uni visits, him really liking leeds and charlie saying that they are gonna be long distance alice said that the season left that part out as a sort of way of “playing it safe” if they didnt get renewed for season 4 and for the season to feel complete

the ending to this season really bothered me too! Wish they talked, but I guess they wanted to leave on a good note in case Netflix cancelled

Just joined your Patreon recently for heartstopper, can't watch enough reactions 😆 but I really enjoyed your reaction to s1e1 and only watched like 5 mins on your YouTube and immediately jumped to your Patreon lol. I've enjoyed your journey with this beautiful show! You getting so excited to see that there's all types of representation just made me smile more! I connect with Charlie so much as someone who was bullied and self harmed in the past (so your talk after you learned about Charlie's history with it last season was so meaningful and nice to hear) and I also deal with OCD so Charlie is near and dear to my heart, my boy 😭💜 and also connect with Nick (and Mr Farouk) in figuring out I'm bi later in life (when I was about 28). When I first watched the show I went in with the "ah it's just a cutesy story isn't it? Wonder if I'll even like it" and man did this show just melt my heart and break it at the same time. The topics and the way they bring them into light is so so so well done, especially for younger people. If I had this as a teenager maybe I would've figured it out sooner. Anyways I'm rambling and telling you too much lol but I just wanted to say your reactions were phenomenal and I can't wait to check out other stuff on your channel. Also have you ever watched young royals? Another amazing lgbtqia+ show, would love to see reactions to it! And also the movie red white and royal blue, it's an lgbtqia+ romcom of sorts and is beautiful (the book is absolutely amazing too)! 💜
