Hello everyone, and thanks for taking the time to read Mana System. When I first started this story, it was on a whim. I never really expected to be writing this for two years or for it to reach over 600k words.

Back before the Writathon, I realized I had no idea where to take the story after this arc. For the better part of six months, I tried to come up with an idea. One that wasn’t the same tired nonsense that some of these litrpg stories fall into when they tend to drag on past where the authors should have stopped. And I couldn’t.

It's probably for the best. This story had a lot of issues but it taught me plenty about how to write. Will my next story be a masterpiece of literature that will shake the world? No, probably not but you might find it interesting. I hope some of you will join in on the new journey with Kingdom of Rust. This story will be a bit lighter in tone than Mana System and while it will be fantasy, it isn’t LitRPG. So check out the synopsis below.

Ever since Bakus was little, he only wanted to be one thing when he grew up, a Chosen, a protector of humanity. So he trained diligently with that purpose in mind, until the day he came of age and could claim that title.

When he finally manages to fulfill his lifelong wish, he finds out not everything is as he thought and he isn’t nearly as prepared as he should have been. He must now try and survive while he unravels the truth and figures out who he can trust.

The first chapter will release on April 11th with a Monday through Friday release schedule until I hit chapter 20. Then I will go back to my two chapters a week schedule as that works well with my available time to write. I’m throwing up a poll as well to see if you prefer the same Saturday double release or would prefer it be released on the same day I update Royal Road.
