I have been working on a PvE survival world where players compete indirectly. You win by being the last player alive in an arena swarming with enemy creatures. It's almost done, and a lot of the art is now finished, but there is still some more work to be done to polish the entire experience.

In this video you can see some how the game generally works, what the enemies look like and how they behave, and most of the environment art. But there is more to be done-- specifically UI animation, custom music I'm composing, and pretty much the entire spectating experience is not complete. I have also been play-testing to find a good balance of variables like movement speed, enemy speed, enemy aggressiveness etc.

I'm really proud of how the AI works in this game, and will definitely make a blog post about this! Most enemy types will attack you if they see you, but you can hide from them behind obstacles. Some will even spot you from really far away and track down your last known location, so you can't just hide behind a corner. Some enemies can fly and charge laser shots. There is also one enemy in the arena who targets the player with the fewest coins, again and again, until only the richest and more agile player remains.

Thank you for your ongoing support, I know this month has been rather slow. I think this world will be the next one I release, and it should be really soon. I really want to finish some smaller projects, and Murder!
