While our heroine had no clue on how to begin her adventuring career, her previous life as an "on the run" thief had taught her some valuable lessons. One of them being that acquiring food is essential. After a short wander outside the city gates and up a stream, our heroine encounters a moderately sized mudcrab, and a swift kick the crab was helplessly turned upside down.

 And with a few stabs, the stream was made safe once again for unwary swimmers. 

Her iron knife had some trouble cutting off the crustacean’s limbs; at least if the crab meat didn't sell well, the Argonian could always cook it and force it down as a vile meal.
