Monday Journal: MISSME Reborn (Patreon)

Surprise! Here is my announcement! Well, not really surprise. I just wanted to outline my ideas more and I wanted to be more transparent when it came to those ideas I had because it's the people who make me, not the other way around. And those (very supportive *sob*) people deserve to know the changes that of which are coming.

Name Change:

I tried my best to take my time with this. Being completely honest, MISSME was the name I picked because it sounded good at the time but as time has gone on, I've been out growing it. MISSME will always have a special place in my heart being that it was one of my creator names.

However, change comes for us all. I wandered the internet near and far in search of the perfect name and I might've found it. 

At first, I ran through a few that used the word Baby and the silly variations:

They were brainstorms I had but none of them were really striking to me to be honest. maybe CallMeBaby but...ehh?

So I tried to change it up to Babydoll but that was too generic and Playdoll was too weird! So I thought that maybe I could mix it up and think outside the rocks. I recently started playing this Otome game called Cupid Parasite and so, I got to thinking.

And I know this is gonna be a leap.

But 1-800-Cupid was like a dream to me. A dream to be! So I was trying to find a way to change it up because there's probably a thousand 1-800-cupids on the interwebs. So instead of just using one "U" in cupid, I did two. 

1-800-CUUPID & CUUPID Corp.

Creative, right? Probably not but I tried my absolute best!!! And trying my best is what I do best I guess :3

Artistic Direction (banner and icons):

Now, I'm happy to admit, that I've only gotten to making a new banner but it's a pretty banner. It was a render and I feel like it accentuates(?) the feeling I'm going for quite well. 

I was really trying to go for the look of cupid for a few reasons being that I myself was born in February and love happens year round. I want to be able to love what I make more than I do now so I feel like this is a good reminder of it.

Annnnnd I have an excuse to think that I'm match making cute clothing with cute sims, sorta like a boutique >w>

I'm certainly going to work on it more but for now, here is my concept banner. Not quite sure what else I'll do to improve but I'm sure I'll figure it out when I can clean my mind and brainstorm!

And I plan on making another render for an icon that matches the Cupid state of mind. Until then, I managed to work out a cute little logo I want to be the calling card for Cuupid Corp:

Tier changes:

Now this is one of the bigger changes I'm making. Because of it, how my Patreon works will change quite a bit. 

When the time comes, I will un-publish the two tiers I currently have and replace them with three new ones. For the time being, they are relatively simple and will give access to their own rewards. 

Venus will grant early access to clothing that is considered Safe For Work. By that, I mean it'll range from suggestive, skimpy and regular everyday clothing that will consist of no nudity. The early access will last 1 week and go free after. Unless Patreon has an issue with the previews and the level of suggestiveness included in the clothing, they will be unlocked on my Patreon per normal after the week is up.

Eros, will grant early access to Venus tier content & Not Safe For Work clothing which will consist of nudity and lewdity essentially. The early access for this tier will last for 2 weeks instead of the regular 1 week. Now, since Patreon's TOS states that I have to keep posts like these behind a paywall, I will have to keep these posts locked. So, when the two week EA is up, they will be uploaded on Lover's Lab and my MEGA AOI which they will be available to the public and I don't have to risk being taken down.

Cupid will grant early access to Venus and Eros Tier content & any lewd objects I make such as toys and objects that may include WW or DD animations. These objects will be under the CUUPID Corp. name cause it's cute! Early access for this will last for 2 weeks and will be made available to the public via Lover's Lab and my MEGA AOI following my Eros tier.

With these changes, prices will change of course. Venus will be 1$ Eros will be $3 and Cupid will be $5. 

I'm quite nervous about this system because with these tiers, I want to push myself to post every week for the Venus and Eros tiers and every Two weeks for the Cupid tier.  I try my best to keep on schedule with my posting but even sometimes that waivers. I mean, I guess the only thing I can do is try but I don't want to burn myself out and I've been doing a pretty good job of avoiding that so far, haha. Hopefully it holds!

Welcome notes & Goals:

So this is something that I have not changed in a long time. Despite that, I recently saw that it's possible to customize welcome notes per tier which I've been wanting to do but not sure what I could add to it. I've always wanted my Patreon to feel warm and welcoming and changing that around might help contribute to it. 

Goals have always been something I've neglected after my texturing tutorial and I'm super sorry for that. I want to try doing goals again but I wanted to try doing something more feasible and worth while. The tutorial series I wanted to do was worth while and I will force myself to find the strength to continue it but I always want to include other rewards as well so when I figure out whats in my heart, I'll try my best to outline them as well.

Tumblr Presence:

So, I've been wanting to become more active within the community and since the whole discord idea was spoiled, I've been putting more of my time into my tumblr. The only issue is that people cannot seem to be able to find me on tumblr. Since Simblreen, I've had a handful of folks come to me saying that they were unable to find my tumblr until I promoted it both here and on Lover's Lab. 

Now this might be paranoia but I believe that there is a chance that I could be shadow banned. I've had my current account since I started creating for sims but I think it's time to close up shop and move to a new location per-say. Meaning, I want to open a new tumblr. I mean, I have under the 1-800-CUUPID name...

It's not much right now but I purchased another theme, similar to the one I have right now, and tried to make it as cute as possible. I plan to add more to it of course, I really want to personalize it and make it more sims related as well. Hopefully wiping the slate clean will allow people to find me more easily. 

I still plan on keeping my other blog of course, it just won't be the place where I post my cc when I become 1-800-CUUPID. I also want to be a place for my interests and cc finds! I might end up keeping the missmecusomized name for it <3

Deviant Art:

Nothing much to talk about here really. I've also adopted a new Deviant Art page along with the sparkly new tumblr blog. Now this does not mean I'll be abandoning my Flickr account, if anything, it'll give me the chance to focus it more on my Second Life Store since Flickr is tailored more towards them than the Simming community.
Wrapping up...

I feel like maybe I've gotten most everything I've been thinking about outlined here. Of course some or a lot of this could change as time goes on. I've not even sure when I plan on becoming Cuupid, hehe~ 

But when I do, I'll let everyone know! Pinky promise <3
