A New Computer (Patreon)

I was unsatisfied with Apple's offerings. Great CPU but relatively feeble GPUs. Doing the art I do (plus the graphics programming), I needed top of the line graphics capability. So now I have a new windows box. The fight now is to get all my old Poser assets over to the windows box in a form that the windows operating system will accept. Going to be several more days (at best). The real problem is that Poser's directory structure for Windows is significantly different than the one on the Mac (well, duh!). A challenge to say the least. A test render with Daz3D resources only (they were downloaded directly from Daz3D) is surprising. A 20 minute render on the Mac is now a 5 second render. Should make for some interesting artwork ... once I get all the Poser assets into the correct format. Thanks to all my patrons who, through their generous support of this site, paid for the new system
