I'm not sure if this qualifies as a tutorial, maybe more of a guide? haha


But this is how I go about my rough concepts usually! I find it's better to have the full idea of a piece to look at BEFORE you start cleaning it up.
This helps mitigate problems where you might decide to change something that looks wonky later on, but you thought was fine before adding colors, lines,etc.

This is also usually what I share with my commissioners or any type of work I do if possible, that way they also have a good idea of what the finished piece might look like, instead of just the sketch ^^

Honestly debating on making my next opening... ONLY this type of halfbody? I love them so much, and it seems like I always have more complicated stuff going on so maybe that's why ;;v;; Would anyone be opposed? lol
