Hi there sweet boys... it's Scarlet and you'll have to forgive me for being a little quiet, so far this month.. 

A little bit of a confessional... in my real life, I'm a school teacher and  the past few weeks have been a blur of school projects, grading and report cards...I'm also working on a post-graduate degree and Midterms were due...

Well, it might sound a little sappy or old-fashioned, but I'm thinking a nice, quiet, candlelit dinner at a small, intimate cafe, complete with roses, and maybe a bottle of red wine, chilled of course. There would be musician's wandering about, softly strumming on guitars to help set the mood. All my attention would be focused on the beautiful vision sitting across from me. I'm so nervous, being near such a gorgeous woman, but just staring into your eyes immediately puts me at ease. We have an amazing dinner, and not wanting the night to end just yet, we go dancing. Holding you so close, swaying, laughing, just so completely connecting...it's intoxicating. Maybe it's the wine, maybe your fragrance, but whatever it is, I know there's a spark between us...

Paris. Springtime. A shortish browse around the Musée D'Orsay to look at impressionist paintings. A walk along the river, and perhaps through the Tuileries gardens. You need to put a shawl over your naked shoulders in the cool evening air. Then a bistro in the old town, tucked away, shabby chic. It's busy but I've reserved a table in the corner that feels intimate. Champagne, then a half bottle of white Burgundy, then a half bottle of Bordeaux (naturally). Making eyes, hypnotic eyes, playing footsie. Mind games about what you are, or are not, wearing beneath your dress. Losing track of time and feeling that gradually the whole experience is enslaving me. We both love sophisticated conversation, but somehow everything ends up returning to innuendo and the suggestions of what we'd like to do to each other. Walk through the narrow streets of the old town and pick up an ice cream whilst listening to a band. Finish up back by the riverside in the dappled light of the stars and lamps. I think only Scarlet can decide if there's a perfect little hotel with a cage elevator and plush, smooth sheets nearby...

Hmm... I'm pleased with my Paris scenario, but does it fit 'the girl next door'? Part of me thinks that a date with the girl next door would take me bowling, then we'd go for a milkshake and a burger and end up canoodling in a haystack or the back seat of a car somewhere. It's not glamorous but it has it's own charm...
