A few friends surprised me with a treat to beach as a belated birthday gift/end-of-school-celebration/you-made-it-through-the-toughest-season. I'll be back next week rejuvenated and ready to spoil you and bring the heat for summertime.

Thank you Scarlett. I think I have a time zone advantage here in Australia and have already been able to listen to your latest poetry reading. I've had the most enjoyable, relaxing, time. It was heartwarming, affirming, sweet, honest and just so good to be able to listen to you like that. You have to keep doing these, they are something really special. Have to go now - got a 'flight' to catch tonight.

Scarlett, I just wanted to say thank you. What you said a the beginning of your open mic session about helping be there when life gets you. That is exactly what I am looking for. You're quite welcome, Mark. I'm glad this resonated with you. I plan on opening the mic regularly and I welcome cultivating relationships with my boys. It's a win-win...it helps you fall deeper in trance, but it also helps us when we just need that human interaction. I know a thing or two about nightmarish times - if you need someone to lament our woes to, I'd love to be someone you can confide in.
