I'm forgetting the name of him but the one that wanted to fly into battle with the angels. I think his Sentinel name was Mirage but I can't remember

The sentinel who died in the formorian fight because he was flying with the angels was Sky, Magic died in the initial drop, Sealing died in the final assault with Sky and Katastrophi (Hunting's companion), I think that's all of the ones that died

Thank you too, Selkie. I binged everything you had on Royal Road as of start of November. When I got to the end, I was so enthralled that I thought I might as well throw a few euro your way. I have not been disappointed. If you're excited about what is coming up then I'm sure we will enjoy it too. Third class. New skills. Elaine going home. Possible time travel shenanigans. Maybe more from Iona too?

Would it be a great plot twist if Magic is actually alive, and that it actually survived the fall, and used its Mirage + Sound combination to hide within the horde of ants, or even if it retreated to the wall and he disguised himself as a normal soldier, thus getting great experiences for his two classes, and his objective is actually to support a general in the coup d'etat. His death was so weird.

Yea!! Bluebeard is one of my favorite characters in history and we have our super dino Katratrofe, still sad that she died. It must be one of the reasons the bluebeard wanted to make a healer class, even without the oath, he is above level 512, and has strong classes and with the proper study he could take a healer class that suits both humans and animals. And I would kind of think it would be cool if Elaine had a relationship with him. I don't know, I kind of enjoy them both together, the always cheerful dawn and the grumpy Huting, they kind of go together. And they have some things in common, at least he's much better than Serontes.

Yes, I remembered that. but you can tell it's Iona. And now I was thinking, the Valkyries are a group of warrior women who only welcome those who volunteer. It kind of reminds me of Elaine, Elaine was the one who ran away from home wanting to be a ranger, Elaine wanted women to be able to have citizenship and a role in society, and for them to be free. Not to mention that "Valkyries" is something that can be taken from the stories that Elaine brought to her memories of Earth. Did Elaine create the Valkyries?

I'd actually really like that. It would really help with her mission to give them more rights. And the proximity of the valkyrie's home base in the future to the area Remus is in the present supports that. Because if Elaine wanted them to be a truly Elite force she might take them out of the dead zone for field trips. Or take them with her when the inevitable spreading of the humans from out of Remus and the dead zone.

Are those white wings on her back? Would fit with the valkyrie theme but they'd be a little small if they really are wings. The eyes are also really striking and beautiful.

If "Valkyrie" is a word they use within the story of BTDM (which they do? Didn't think about it up until now) there is a very high chance it's origin would be from one of the stories grandma Elaine tells at the campfires. Maybe in Iona timeline one can find, beside the Medical Scripture, novels and other books and stories written by "unknown healer". Iona is blonde and so on and might look like Sabre a bit, but on second glance it's only the attire. I do not really have a opinion on which Sentinel to depict next. Edit: All starts well which ends well, so hopefully a good upcoming new year and positive thoughts to brighten ones world.

@VadimJ yes, it is confirmed that various stories from Earth are present in Iona's timeline. Elaine referred to herself as "The Bard" when she was storytelling to Sentinels. In the last Iona's interlude "The Bard" was referenced when picking a song.
