Should I redo the book 5 cover? (Patreon)

I'm not a huge fan of the book 5 cover. I'm thinking of redoing it. Thoughts?

Compared to the other books it looks out of place. Also more artwork is always great!

Regardless of if I like it (not the biggest fan), you should be totally happy with it!

Definitely YES! All others are dark, but with nice glowy accents. This one is only dark, it's hard to really see the dragon.

I think it spoils the book a little bit too much. I really liked the previous 4 covers, which provided clues or hints as to what was happening, such as teasing the change to radiance in book 3. This is just literally Elaine sneaking around a dragon, which doesn't really fit the theme. That being said, if you think it's better to move away from the single-character portrait-style covers, that's your own decision. I can only say that the book 5 cover doesn't mesh with the previous 4.

what was the cover again ? ha yeah the one with the dragon and the eggs, it just isn't coherent with the other covers, stylewise.

If I’m brutally honest i never liked it as the cover art, didn’t give the same feeling as the others.

The current cover looks like a diablo 2 screen shot. I think I said as much on the post where it was revealed

If you're not in love with it, you should redo it, regardless of other reasons

Elaine with a dragon wing in the background so you can't really see what it is unless you know Or the hanging angel

How about Elaine with the Dwarven wood wall in the background. This doesn't give away the main conflict, but illustrates that the dwarves are involved.

I don’t really have an opinion on the blocking of the cover (ie. what it shows), however I immediately noticed that it looked grainy and low fidelity. Like less detailed than the other ones, and looked like it went through compression some how. Than and I’m not as much of a fan of the actual art style compared to the earlier ones.

I think you should be happy with it which means change it then? I also agree some other comments saying it looks low res and ngl kinda gives me the vibe of a B studio RPG pc game from the late 80s

Just went to look it up and... yeah. It really doesn't fit with the rest of your covers and frankly, looks pretty cheap compared to your earlier covers.
