mechamaru's technique + geto's quote confused me so i looked at reddit and learned this - Domain expansions guarantee a hit, Simple Domains basically "turn off" the domains technique so you don't get hit or at least don't get hit by the full force of the attack. This allows weaker people or people who don't have a Domain Expansion to survive and either run away or turn the fight around despite not having a Domain Expansion. Thats why its nickname is "Domain for the weak". Since Mahito's technique was "turned off" from the Simple Domain, he was able to be damaged (that's the time his arm exploded). and yeah apparently you can store domains inside objects kinda like how there can be cursed objects - that nail thing geto picked up is for the barrier, not anything from mechamaru - tbh i still dont know what geto meant when he said "i might be able to..." during the mechamaru fight lol
