-Here are some additional details from the Light Novel (Volume 11 Chapter 8-12/14?) •For the first time, Rudy decides to ignore Hitogami's advice. •Elinalise convinces Rudy that Geese might have jumped to conclusions and sent the letter prematurely. She also suggests that Geese's letter might reflect Paul's pride from his previous letter. •Rudy bids farewell to Linia and Pursena, asking them to remain friends and keep in touch. •Nanahoshi informs Rudy about the teleportation circles she and Orsted used for world travel. This method would reduce the journey to around 94 days round trip instead of 2 years. •The faster travel method persuades Elinalise to join, despite her initial hesitation due to not wanting to leave Cliff. •Naming a baby before a journey is taboo in this world. •Rudy borrows "An Exploratory Account of the Teleportation Labyrinth," "The Begaritt Continent," and "The Fighting-God Tongue" from the library for reference in case of communication issues. •It takes them 5 days to reach a nearby teleportation circle in the forest. •They encounter and battle a green boar before reaching the teleportation circle, where Elinalise demonstrates her combat skills. •The incantation to remove the barrier seems to reference Holy Dragon Emperor Shirad, one of the Five Dragon Generals from old stories. •Rudeus freezes a water bottle and cools the air around them to manage the temperature. •They also encounter various monsters such as Treants, Sandworms, an army of Phalanx Ants, Giant Bats, Raptors, and Garudas during their time in the desert. •Rudeus carrying spices reminds Elinalise of Geese doing the same, noting that rogue adventurers often carry spices, a common sight during his adventures with Soldat's party. -Differences from the Light Novel: •Rudy's farewell with Linia and Pursena is simplified. •Elinalise is portrayed as more dramatic, frequently changing her mind about going to Begaritt or staying with Cliff after his proposal. •Cliff's marriage proposal occurs during a conversation with Rudy and Elinalise, which is omitted in the anime. •The farewells with Rudy's friends are slightly different in the LN. Rudy bids farewell before discovering the teleportation circle, so his friends think he will be gone for at least two years, and Linia and Pursena might have graduated by then. •The chapters where Rudeus takes a job as a guard/mercenary, introducing some minor future characters, are skipped. This might be shown in future episodes.
