Doom Badger

I'd love to see her in a set of stocks, tied toes, and just baby oil and a hairbrush going to town on her feet. Your work is utterly spellbinding my friend.

Just goes to show how much work goes into even shorter animations. Keep up the good work, we'll keep supporting you! Remember to keep your personal health in mind as well 😁

I am super interested: what kind of computer setup do you use and how long does it take you to render a single image vs. an animation (let's say 10 seconds with your usual fps settings) ?

Costa

Damn that's a lot of hard work that goes into this! Very commendable. Much respect to you and your craft!

So when you're creating a new character, do you use a previous character as a base and go from there or do you start from scratch?

Elektratouch

I've got a windows desktop with an intel i7-7700K CPU, 32gb ram, GTX 1080Ti. I can usually get a frame rendered anywhere between 1-2 min with denoising, depending on the shot. For a 10 second shot that might be 6 or 7 hours of rendering. Some of the newer RTX cards work insanely well with blender and cut down rendering drastically, so I'm hoping to get my hands on one but it's a little hard still haha.

I use the body as a base with slight modifications, then make a new head and add different hair. I can reuse clothing easily too.

This is AMAZING! I recently just jumped to Maya from DAZ and was partly inspired by you to do it (I know you use blender, but I'm not familiar). I do have one question, if you don't mind me asking... DId you set up all of the rig controls yourself for parts like the fingers and toes? I can rig my hands and feet, but I like how you have one control that controls them all. Did you do that yourself?

Elektratouch

The rig is based off rigify, which is an auto-rigging system in blender. I did do the toes and that big finger control myself though since it wasn't part of it, as well as some other things I added on.
