samples! - hardstyle kicks (Patreon)

my good friend Kabanagu asked me the other day if i could make gabber kicks (hardstyle kicks), and so I did. And i thought i'd share them with you too. 

the sound design is fairly simple, a good kick sounding sample, extreme bell filtering, and a lot of distortion haha

 for the distortion, most of it was made using ableton's saturator, camelcrusher, devil loc deluxe and decapitator. 

one tip for these sounds is to only distort above certain frequencies, as it allows for more detailed tone/timbre control + keeping a clean sub bass!
