Synopsis: When Stanley drops out of agricultural college to join the Navy, he’s shipped off to the Pinwheel to complete his training as a UNN Marine. There, he meets Raz, an unruly alien who seems more concerned with her own status than making friends with the other recruits. She’s big, tough, and more than a little scary, but he’ll have to find a way to befriend her if he wants to complete the program.

This is a professionally produced audiobook with a runtime of over six hours that was developed in collaboration with the ever-talented Bordeaux Black, a voice actress and musician with a background in opera and musical theater who is probably best known for her work on videogames like Subverse and Call Me A Legend. She brings a whole new dimension to the story with her performance, and I think the blend of radio drama and traditional narration makes her style rather unique and results in a very immersive listening experience.

Bordeaux was a dream to work with and really gave it her all, whether she was narrating action or romance, and I’m really pleased with the outcome.
