Update #7 (Patreon)

Hi all,

I saw the orthopedic hand surgeon yesterday. The results from the EMG came back negative - this is good news, meaning I don't have any nerve damage or muscle atrophy, and ulnar nerve entrapment is unlikely. Instead, he thinks the main culprit is carpal tunnel syndrome.

I received corticosteroid injections in both wrists, which was unpleasant, but I'm extremely hopeful that this will get me back to drawing again! I was feeling a lot of burning and pain from the shots yesterday, but I did notice when I had to jot down some notes, my hand felt stronger. I'm told to give it about a week to see results, but if all goes well, I'll be back to making my anime girl pinups again soon. ^_^
