Well, I think we occasionally get posts as patrons that don't show up on the tumblr (mcmansionhell.com) page....but yeah, having the email alert actually link to the blog post instead of to this site would be better...

excellent post! I live in that area and you hit it on the head-- so much amazing architecture, and so many regrettable McMansions. Driving around some of the North Suburbs you can pretend you're in a John Hughes movie.
