In the house I grew up in, the kitchen wallpaper was very similar to this, so I'm secretly rather fond of this kitchen in Texas.

For some reason, the white kitchen in its various permutations has been in style for the last 30 years almost. This is in spite of the fact that white and food don't play nice together. Still, the white country kitchen is still a better trend from yesteryear than the dark and dreary mahogany and cherry kitchens of the 2000s which are already beginning to look very dated.

Dark blues like the ones featured in this kitchen are becoming very popular again, and were featured in June's edition of Elle Decor. With current design trends going in the direction they are, this kitchen doesn't seem to look very out of place at all.

I've always hated those stupid pots and pans hanging from kitchen ceilings.

I always wonder how they REACH the pots and pans to USE them...
