A change for the sake of fairness (Patreon)

As you know, until now Patreon charged all subscriptions on the 1st of each month. That means that if for example you subscribe on the 15th of a given month, you will be charged for the current month on that day, and on the first day of the following month you will be charged again. The problem comes when someone subscribes in the last days of the month, because in those cases you are charged twice almost simultaneously and it's not fair.

Now Patreon gives us creators the option to change the way it charges subscribers and I want to let you know that I've already made the change, so from now on all new subscribers will be charged 30 days after signing up, if you subscribed on the 20th, the next payment will be on the 20th of the following month.

Obviously this only affects new subscribers, for those who already are, everything will remain the same as before.

Como saben, hasta ahora Patreon cobraba todas las subscripciones el dia 1 de cada mes. Eso quiere decir que si por ejemplo se subscriben el dia 15 de un determinado mes, ese dia se les cobrara el mes en curso, y el primer dia del mes siguiente van a volver a cobrarles la subscripcion. El problema surge cuando alguien se subscribe en los ultimos dias del mes, ya que en esos casos se les cobra dos veces casi simultaneamente y no es nada justo para ustedes.

A partir de ahora Patreon nos da a los creadores la posibilidad de cambiar la forma en que cobra a los subscriptores y quiero avisarles que yo ya he hecho el cambio, asi que a partir de ahora a todos los nuevos subscriptores se les cobrara a los 30 dias de haberse anotado, asi que si se subscribieron el dia 20, el siguiente pago sera el día 20 del mes siguiente.

Obviamente esto solo afecta a los nuevos subscriptores, para los que ya lo son seguirá todo igual como hasta ahora.
