This past week was the first one that I was 100% focused on the development of the next chapter, because after publishing the final version of chapter 14 I could finally get to work fully on the second season.

I was also working a lot on the code for the new season (which as you know, will be a new download, it won't include the previous chapters), so I had to analyze very well what to do when someone touches the "start new game" button.

I have come to the conclusion that the best thing to do is this :

1) The player has load a save from the end of season 1, in that case the game will tell you that the save was loaded correctly, and will ask you if you want to review the story so far or start directly the new chapter ( If you choose to do the review, it will present you a series of images showing you the important moments of season 1 and your decisions. )

2) The player starts a new game without loading a season 1 save, in this case the game will ask you if you want to manually load the season 1 decisions (similar to starting a new chapter with the chapter selector) or if you prefer to start a default game, and if he chooses this latter option the game will start with a custom game previously setted by me, with all the romantic relationships active and with the path that offers the most content. Obviously this last option is not ideal, but I suppose it should be available for those who want to start a game without worrying about what happened in the first season.

All the coding for this that I just mentioned is done and seems to be working fine, although I need to keep testing it.

And as for the story, the new chapter starts right at the moment when the previous chapter ends, and as you can imagine a big part of the plot will be about that weekend spent alone with Ruby. I think it' s a very important moment that deserves to be told in depth, possibly next week I'll share with you the first preview image of the new chapter, but I have to look for one that isn't too much of a spoiler, haha.
