High-Res Cross Sama X Illustration (Patreon)

I did more practice of drawing like other people, to branch out my horizons and skills and such. I focused on Cross (https://twitter.com/cross_samaX) on this one since I had a scratch to itch with his stuff.

I've noticed some techniques of his I never really thought about in general. Like for the lighting layer, he uses a textures bumpy brush to indicate a feeling of skin. I haven't seen many other people do that. He even gave me his pen tool for his hand written dialogue with the outlining effect.

Hopefully I was close with this one. Imma be honest, I did lose myself making this. Which is why they're saying all this stuff. It really set a mood.
