Yeah I know I've done this before, but it really does sometimes surprise me when I check out my most recent Murphy & Mitzi designs compared to the model sheets I made last year. So many little differences.

Back in 2022 I leaned a little TOO heavy into making things angular, flat, and thick-lined when I re-designed Murphy & Mitzi. Since then I've gradually dialed some of that back, while adjusting other things. I've learned that I shouldn't make things SO incredibly rigid and pointy, and have gone back to making things have curves and bends.

Funny, these more recent versions of them are like a combination of the "new" and "old" designs. Maybe I'll update the model sheets sometime to reflect these little changes.

I agree with Mende, it isn't so easy to notice UNTIL you pointed it out! I agree though, I like this much looser approach to them, and am excited to see redesigned poses for the rest o' the guys when you eventually get to making those character bios :P

Interesting! The difference is so much more obvious when they're side-by-side like this. It's definitely tricky to get a nice balance between bold and fluid shapes. But I think you do quite well!
