Next cartoon is on the way! I spent some time finishing up most of the animation today, and am starting on the background now. Looking forward to getting this one done.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to see Space Jam.

It's interesting to see the background without any textures, and it makes me wonder how long it usually takes you to make your backgrounds. Now that you've made several, I'm sure you've got a pretty streamlined process for it! I'm jealous.

It's actually pretty quick, yeah! I've boiled most of my background design down to simple flat shapes and gradients, with textures overlaid on top. I almost never do traditional shading for these, which saves a lot of time. I can totally show off my background design process for this. I basically just took a lot of inspiration from the prototype version of Windy Valley from Sonic Adventure
