想問下遊車隊要掘技術人員,可以佢邊度掘到?

一步一步,下游嘅話,更多係已經有基本人才,但管理、效率、提拔、鬥心同制度唔夠,視乎環境,先做好自己可能已經係中游。如果真係要掘,以前 F3 有研發,其他賽車系列都有勁人。

RB, Ferrari, MB, McL, Alpine, AM, AT and Haas have enough noise and peanuts this 2 years, Williams and Alfa Romeo are a bit too quiet... Looking forward to your program about Williams and maybe if you could talk about Alfa too...

Williams' problem... 1) GR63 is an important factor (like you said), and surely he had out-driven the car too much that making a false impression of Williams' coming back; 2) Merc engine probably couldn't perform well, in particular with E10 fuel, and the issue is maximised on lower/less advanced teams; 3) Porpoising effect hammered these lower teams even more; 4) I have been wondering why Williams cannot do what Aston Martin is doing - hire talents and keep innovating (the "desire to create"), maybe all about how aggressive to spend big money to hire top talents from other teams and build new infrastructure to support their chase to the leading teams.

Stroll has strong objectives and taste in this sport, hence passionate enough to spend big money to build a team for his son and buy the brand Aston Martin... Dorilton Capital probably does not have such passion or not enough incentive, since 2 years after acquisition, they might have found the business not helping them to make much money at all (my guess).

About Alfa... the topic that I am interested to see is that, why Haas won the spot to be the Ferrari B team, but not Alfa. Being a B team is not a bad thing for this sport, since budget is a big matter for smaller teams (and the A teams too). AT and Haas take much benefit being a B team and keep this sport interesting.

about dorilton - fair enough, the hong kong part-owner Calvin Lo recently said more interests from asia for other areas in F1, maybe the case of capital running dry, or looking for options other than Williams? williams - agreed with propoising, merc engine idk.... wonder if adderly knows anything?

inspiring! 1) sauber engineering insisting on technical sovereignty? 2) ferrari needing more control over B team maximising A/B-team synergy fighting against RBR/AT and less-but-still-related Merc/Aston? 3) marketing? USA-based vs Europe-based team?

More homework for you and everyone of us 😝. Recent F1心戰室 programs were all about people and team politics fighting between teams and personnel. This different topic would be interesting to see how teams work together and how to run this business to find profit. Also interesting to compare USA-based and Europe-based teams.

Sauber (in fact, I forgot Alfa-Romeo is actually Sauber... hahaha), interesting point... want to do some research how it survives in F1 for many years...
