✏️ 九譯:F1 paddock 近來吹起一道風,吹話用俗稱「3D 打印」技術來製造賽車引擎活塞。

📣 短評:這是新但不是最新的風,惟被行內龍頭雜誌《Race Engine Technology》如此明目地寫下來倒是新...... 鮮。


"Despite having a higher specific weight than aluminium (alloy), an addictively manufactured steel piston with a high enough resolution would probably allow more complex geometries than a casting or forging, as it would have internal structures to carry the thermal and mechanical loads without using unnecessary material." —— 🔬 參考:Grid: In The News. ✏️ 強行翻譯:儘管鋼材比鋁(合金)重,但一個由「足夠高密度(高清)」3D 打印出來的鋼活塞,將比傳統 casting 或 forging 能造出更複雜的幾何形狀。因其內部更仔細結構不需多餘物料,亦能承載熱與機械負荷。

📣 短評:我只能拋磚 🧱,希望引來相關專才的玉,多多指教。

弱弱一問,請問一般F1賽車引擎有幾多個活塞?而活塞係咪即係“嘩佬”?

The specifications are four-stroke, turbocharged 1.6 liter, 90 degree V6 turbo engines

要慳錢,要耐用,唔會失效能 兼 最好有提升。重要可以 催谷。。。 繼油要玩都咁細(分子)估唔到 快去到下一個改變。。。 個人希望會研發新 合金

如有錯請指正: 傳統鋁壓鑄+鍛造+CNC加工係減材製造,由外部做加工切削 3D打印係增材製造,只要結構強度足夠,可以喺內部偷空 Bugatti有嘗試用金屬3D打印造迫力卡鉗,HRE亦有3D打印車軨,有興趣可Google下

resolution所指嘅應係打印出嚟嘅密度,casting+forging目的就係令金屬密度更高,強度更高 記得第一次聽金屬3D打印應用係金屬壓鑄模具,設計模具內部嘅冷卻水道,控制製品成形溫度,令質量更穩定

3D打印有幾個好處:1)偷空內部令零件更輕,2)可以做到傳統加工做唔到嘅冷熱流道,升溫降溫更快。(可以看看模具設計conformal cooling)
