“Argentia!”
Chris flew towards Argentia after making sure Zergeous was dead, rushing towards him and drinking half of his Arcana Potions, restoring them, and swiftly beginning to heal his entire body.
“My priestess…”
Argentia had fallen into the ground the moment Zergeous finally died; the surge of power he gained was still there, but his body was already dying; more than seventy percent of it was burned.
“Stay still! I’ll heal you right back up!”
Chris put all his energy into healing Argentia, yet his healing wasn’t working; the burned flesh was already dead; it wouldn’t recover no matter how much of his special ki he put into his healing abilities.
His Heavenly Core just wasn’t strong enough for this level of regeneration yet, as he had to completely recover everything from scratch.
“No, it’s not working?! Dammit!”
“My priestess… I… It has been brief… but… I’ve been happy… to be with you.”
“Idiot, don’t say that it’s a huge flag, you know?”
“I’m honored to have been… your familiar… and… the goddess… guardian.”
“No, stop it already! I’m going to heal you no matter what; screw this!”
FLAAASH!
Chris suddenly transformed, his entire body changing in appearance, becoming much taller and slender, with long blonde and white hair, golden eyes, and angelic wings.
Wrapped around his archangel-like appearance there was only a long, white cloth, giving him the appearance of a divine goddess… or god.
Even a holy halo appeared above his head!
“T-This is…?!”
“I guess you haven’t seen this form before, but whatever, I don’t have time to explain!”
Chris used the power of the Heavenly Emperor, obtaining fifty percent of his power when he was still alive and transforming.
Unlike Vlad’s transformation, this one only lasted 5 minutes, however, even less time than the Vampire Prince’s ability.
He had to hurry!
[I am beyond impressed that you would go so far as to save lives with my powers instead of selfishly using them to abuse the weak.]
The voice of the calm and composed Heavenly Emperor echoed inside of Alitheus mind.
[Despite how you act sometimes, you are indeed my reincarnation. Someone who always has heart for the weak and the wounded.]
[Indeed, my power is only for those with such a benevolent side.]
“Shut up and help me heal him!”
[Hahah, yet you still lack many manners! Very well then, my adorable reincarnation. Let me help you.]
FLUOSH!
(Listen While Reading: Evolution & Digixros ver. TAIKI )
The image of the Heavenly Emperor in all his splendor emerged behind Alitheus, resembling a god made of white and golden light.
Using his own techniques through Chris, he was able to conjure his strongest Spiritual Holy Techniques, the magic-like techniques of the Martial World of Murim.
“This is my ultimate technique, so behold!” He roared, raising his arms and then closing his palms, as if praying.
“{Heavenly Spiritual Holy Arts}: {Rebirth of Body and Soul}!”
FLAAASH!
A beam of pure light emerged from the skies; for a moment, for the first time in the entirety of the history of Obscuritas, for a few seconds, everyone saw the light of day.
BOOOM!
The heavenly ray of healing light reached Argentia, its brightness and heat destroying all the burned flesh and revealing whatever was still alive within him.
After that, the light encompassed him, rapidly cleaning his interior and then fully regenerating everything he had lost.
The arm he lost, the eyes that burned, his broken bones, his destroyed internal organs—everything was sewn by heavenly threads of light!
“M-My priestess…! This light is so divine! It feels like...”
Argentia felt an incredible sensation of relief, as if he were being embraced by his mother when he was a young dragon pup many years ago.
The light encompassed him, becoming part of him and even enhancing his own power as he was literally reborn, the only way for him to fully heal.
His silver and purple scales changed colors. As he gained golden scales, suddenly, he also grew a huge pair of wings and even another tail of gold and silver color.
Golden horns decorated his head, which then saw another one grow by his side, both long-necked and majestic, connected into a single mind.
“Argentia?!”
Chris gasped as he saw Argentia completely evolve and change once more. He had absolutely no idea how dragons even developed though, but it seemed that he had already accomplished all conditions to evolve after defeating Zergeous.
Argentia stood majestically, twice as big as before, now towering over fifty meters of height—no, perhaps sixty meters!
His majestic and gigantic form surged like a golden tower above everyone else. The army of the Neburians trembled, quickly being burned by his light.
“How did you…?!”
Argentia glanced at his claws as they regrew anew and sharper than before, and a second and then a third layer of golden scales covered his body like armor!
“It seems that the Goddess have recognized my efforts, my priestess!” he roared. “A Dragon can only evolve after they have defeated mighty foes! Our Dragon Hearts require no energy, no blood, and no lifeforce! We only require fighting a mighty foe, stronger than us, and defeating it!”
FLUOSH!
Argentia’s new form made the entire army of monsters that started surrounding them come to a halt, paralyzed in awe and pain before his glistening draconic brilliance!
“This is the power of our bonds, my master!”
“H-Holy fuck!”
RUMBLE!
Golden explosions of pure aura surged from Argentia’s entire aura, expanding. The Neburians were unable to evade or escape as the blinding golden light consumed them.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
“This is my new power! Master!”
Argentia gave a step forward, his golden claws charged with glistening golden light, as his entire body exploded with endless light.
“{Holy Form: Heavenly Golden Moonlight Dragon Prince}!”
It wasn’t just an evolution; it was more like… a temporary transformation! Chris immediately felt it, the contract with Argentia and this entire event all led to this.
“Am I a Digimon protagonist now or something?!”
Chris was held gently by Argentia’s hands, and as he glared at the distance, hundreds of Neburians pulverized and completely turned to ashes!
“Argentia… Okay, I take back what I said the other day,” said Chris. “You’re fucking cool!”
“Hahaha! Naturally, I am your dragon, my master!” Argentia said heroically.
Then he glared at the Neburians, his claws charging with lightning-like golden moonlight and purple and golden flames.
“I have become… Tier 6!”
“Really?!”
“However, this form… I feel it cannot be maintained for long! I must first master it…”
“Wait, so it’s really not a permanent, huh?”
“Nonetheless, it should be enough! Let us end this once and for all, master!”
“S-Sure! Okay!”
Judgement, above the skies, glared into the distance at the twin-headed golden dragon that had emerged out of nowhere! Its presence alone sent shivers down his long spine.
“What in the world is that?!”
Vlad looked at Camilla recover but fell asleep as he gently placed her over the walls, wrapped around several plants to protect her.
“It seems that Chris had done something insane again.” He smiled in disbelief. “So Argentia’s like a Digimon now? He can “temporarily evolve”? That’s just insane…”
He saw in disbelief and amusement as Argentia destroyed the incoming armies of Neburians that the Players had yet to even reach.
In fact, the Players were very strong, but not the strongest out there, and their group of roughly a few hundred could only cover a part of the walls.
They were working well, but the number of Neburians and their tougher, larger bodies surpassed them even now.
But once Argentia surged, suddenly, with a mere swing of his claws, he slashed and vaporized dozens of Neburians at once.
And he continued fighting, charging forward like a golden draconic titan right outside of some insane anime.
“{Golden Moonlight Claws}!”
SLAAASH! SLAAASH!
Two slashes using his claws were enough for two enormous waves of ten meters of height to slash through the Neburians. The golden light was an evolved, overpowered form of Silver Moonlight, gaining the elemental powers of the Heavenly Light that Chris wielded.
It granted Argentia the power to burn and vaporize anything it touched, and it was expansive while also exploding! The waves of golden moonlight simply consumed anything in their wake.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
It wasn’t without a doubt that even the forest surrounding Elderbridge was completely vaporized and burned to ashes, only leaving a destroyed, burned wasteland behind.
“Looks like it’s only you now, Judgement.”
Vlad smiled at the giant serpentine dragon in the skies. As countless black clouds wrapped around him, enormous quantities of Vengeful Flames and even Vengeful Thunder emerged from within him.
“And so what?! I am Judgement! A filthy golden dragon like that… does not matter to me! Elderbridge must burn today!”
With all his power, Judgement attempted to charge against the barriers once more. The Players panicked, quickly jumping away from the way.
Teressa stood there, gasping for air, harnessing the power of the Moon Goddesses.
“I won’t let you destroy my home!”
With all her power into it, Teressa decided to not escape like she had always done.
No, this time, she was no longer going to run away from her problems.
She was going to face them head-on, just like she did when she fought Helena.
Combining her Blood Power with her Ice Heart, she unleashed one of her strongest techniques against Judgement.
“{Blood Frost Demon Arts}: {One Million Crimson Icicles}”
Her Blood and Azure Ice Aura erupted, expanding around her as if it were a pseudo-domain, absorbing the power of the Moons. She unleashed a million crimson icicles against Judgement at once.
A million needles made of crimson frost reached Judgement, who shielded himself with his black clouds and the flames and thunder he wielded.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Countless explosions engulfed him, bombarding his entire body constantly; however, the mighty serpent, despite taking some damage, seemed almost unscathed.
“Not enough?!”
Teressa gritted her teeth, suddenly fusing all the needles together, screaming in pain as she spent the last of her Arcana into this last attack.
“T-Then take this last gift, you bastard!”
A giant crimson spear was formed, made out of frozen blood, and reached Judgement within a split second.
The serpent’s eyes widened as he quickly harnessed his powers into his claws and swung them against the incoming spear.
CLAAASH!
The spear continued being pushed towards him, managing to pierce through his claws and hands, making the serpent scream.
“DAMMIT!”
With a furious roar, the serpent quickly unleashed his black clouds, throwing the spear elsewhere before it was to explode behind him.
BOOOM!
At the same time, Teressa fell unconscious, falling from the skies into the ground below. Vlad saw she was fine; vampires could survive such falls with ease.
“That monster even deflected Vlad's mother’s strongest spell?!” Paul thought. “Is it really Tier 5?!”
The thing is, Judgement was indeed Tier 5, but that didn’t mean that his magic abilities couldn’t help him edge towards something even beyond.
After all, from what Paul had analyzed, the serpent could absorb the clouds from the sky and transform them into his defensive coat.
At the same time, he could generate deadly lightning from those clouds, giving him another weapon aside from his own Vengeful Flames.
“Argentia is too far away… Teressa and Camilla can’t fight anymore,” the vampire prince sighed. “And Elderbridge is about to get blown up to pieces anyway." I guess I have to use it.”
RUMBLE!
Within a split second, an explosion of Demonic Ki surged from his entire body; his appearance didn’t change, but his aura and even his personality gave a sudden shift.
“I guess it can’t be helped. I’ll take to take out the trash!”
FLASH!
With a single step into the skies, Vlad emerged above Judgement and then.
“Hey.”
“W-Wha…?!”
The serpent was unable to even see him coming before Vlad kicked his face with both of his legs at the same time, an explosion of black and crimson thunder erupting.
CLAAASH!
The serpent could swear his jaws were dislocated as he was sent flying away from Elderbridge at lightning speed, piercing through several cloud formations before falling into the wastelands beyond the forest.
“W-What… happened?! How did he...? Agh!”
The serpent glanced into the approaching figure, his crimson eyes widening in disbelief and shock.
“N-No, there’s no way!”
And right above him, a glistening golden dragon emerged, opening his two jaws and greeting him with a double dragon breath.
BOOOM! BOOOM!
