November Personal Update (Patreon)

I'm sorry about the radio silence

This is gonna get... personal D:

The past couple weeks have been kinda  rough; I believe I mentioned it here, but I've had a bit of a depressive episode. I think I'm finally over the hump, but now I'm trying to catch up from work. It's a bit rare that I'm out for a couple weeks... the last time I remember having an episode like this was 2 or 3 years ago. I think part of it was moving and readjusting to life. 

If y'all haven't heard, me and my fiance moved back to Utah and are living with my parents while she finds a job and I continue work here, but so far it's been a bit slow. It's been difficult, but hopefully we can get it all together! 

I know  that most of my personal stuff is kinda ranting about stuff or talking about my views and opinions, so I dunno how awkward all this is going to be. We had a kitten that ended up being a very very bad cat, and we ultimately took him back to his shelter. Happily he just got adopted (although his evil brother showed up at the rescue now... a batch of very naughty kittens ;(...) 

Meanwhile I think I've been struggling with my art a bit. This happens to every artist from time to time. They tend to feel discouraged, like something is off about their art. Usually it's a plateau, where they've reached a high point that feels like a low point. You have to go up from there, and usually it means you've improved! But it's also very frustrating. I think it was a bit unfortunate that it landed during a depressive episode 8( 

In better news, though! I have a potential comic deal with Slipshine. They're a smut website that has comic updates and quite a few artists. I can share previews here, but it will be a Slipshine exclusive. However, this presents an opportunity I haven't had the chance to do yet, which is a full month or so dedicated to comic drawing. This is a bit of a dream come true, honestly, so I'm incredibly excited to get started on this! I hope you all will enjoy this too! 

Another detail to note about that is that while they have digital exclusivity, I'm still allowed to print and sell the comic, so I imagine that'd be a great way to release the comic to everyone! @ v @ When I have more and my pitch is approved, I'll be sure to share the details with all of you!
