Well, things have been moving along and the gameplay side of the next update is close to completion - in the screenshot above you can see the dungeon generator in action. Some work still needs to be done before the dungeon can be played and finished as intended, but it's mostly minor stuff.

Audio, art and writing have all been worked on as well, but there's some things still to do on each front. I haven't yet started on the most art-intensive bits, that is the implementation of the new party member, and the new scenes. Those two things will take up the bulk of work to be done before the next release is ready.

Still, If I don't run into any major problems with implementing the new sex scene system, I'm optimistic that the update will release in late november/early december, as previously estimated.
