Some have it as a spell used by tanuki or kitsune, or have it as a yokai whose presence causes women to gain weight as they sleep. This was made to explain beer goggles and women gaining weight during marriage. The hope with this image and this descriptor is to have this concept be used more by FAs, that we  have more images and comics using nebutori.
