April Monthly Painting - Suggestions! (Patreon)

New month, new picture! And a few new rules as well- one you all know about, and one most of you won't. TL;DR at the bottom if you're lazy (no judgement here) or need a recap.

First of all, we're taking a little break from the 'failed hunt' series for a while. A lot of you are enjoying it, I'm enjoying it, but it has been the consistent winner for a long time and I don't think it's unreasonable that a few people are asking for a little break from it for the monthly paintings. I may continue to fiddle with the world on my own time- no major plans immediately, but I have been rolling comic plot ideas through my head recently to see if anything feels good.

Don't worry though, I'm not making this permanent, I don't mind the idea of opening back up to it occasionally, but we could use a little break I think! In fact, we've been going 'mean' for a while, how about some nice suggestions nice month? Nice can still include bondage though. I think you can tie someone up and pamper them easily enough... :P

Second, I want to experiment with a new rule to see how it feels. Some of the suggestions are starting to feel a little lengthy. I'm starting to on occasion feel a little boxed in by the amount of details given in some of these suggestion descriptions, and shortening them down to the 140ish character limit the poll fields have is surprisingly stressful sometimes, heh. So, to that end I want to experiment with limiting your entire suggestion to that size.

Now, I'm not going to be a hardass about that, you can include non-suggestion comments in addition to that character limit, stuff like "Here's an idea I've had for a while!", and etc, but the actual details of the suggestion should be kept into 140 characters. (If you need an easy to way to keep track, FA's shouts have a character count tracker so you can just type the suggestion into your own shout box, refine it to 140 characters and then copy/paste here)

Feel free to let me know what you think of this limitation. If everyone hates it I might get rid of it fairly quickly, but I'd like to test it out for a bit, I think this kind if limitation can breed some interesting creativity- and give me some breathing room when drawing too, heh.

So, TL;DR:
1 - We're taking a little break from the Failed Hunt series, suggest other stuff for a bit!
2 - Your entire suggestion should fit within the 140 character limit, no adding a ton of details outside of that which I have to keep track of. This is experimental and may be reverted in future months.

It's honestly a lot of fun to try and fit my suggestions into the 140-character limit and have them be both fun and sensible, ha! As I said before, I'm definitely on-board with taking a break from the FH series for a while. Given that #1 and #2 were both FH pieces, at 71 and 70 votes respectively, at the end of last poll, I feel that if I/we/us were to suggest it again this month, it would win. And that just feels like too much of a good thing; don't wear it out while it's still fun, eh? Comic featuring that universe could be a lot of fun, though! Now, on to the suggestion for this month: "A little donkey jack finds himself filming a rather sensual scene with the stallion from Fluffer, though it seems like he’s not complaining!" I figure all the actors get scheduled around and whatnot, so it would be normal for our Fluffer stallion friend to be paired with someone else from time to time. Same goes for Kyle, so maybe that's a suggestion for another month, ha. You've only ever drawn one jack from what I can remember and you did an absolutely fantastic job with him, so I feel like it's a shame not to expand upon that, ya'know? Details of the scene are up to you!

I’m honestly okay with the rules. The FH series is fun, but I agree with that it has become maybe a bit too much of a good thing. To that end I’ll forward the idea from last month: A slice-of-life piece set in a universe where clothing is optional and nudity (and even kink!) of any kind is socially acceptable.

Shucks, and just when I turned things around for the wolves :P Well, I had some other ideas involving their society and relationship with scavengers/other predators, so if you want to pick my brain for worldbuilding I'm right here :3 Hmm, something nice...well I don't want to split the Museum vote for this month, I don't think you've ever painted Blue Jay before, and we've had a lot of multi-character pieces so how about a pin-up: "Blue Jay enjoys herself in an appropriately sized birdbath" Of course, if you want to keep her in 3D, a cardinal counterpart might be cool too. I really like how you do birds.

Personally I don't think of her as "the" blue jay, more as "a" blue jay if that makes sense, so to that end I have painted bluejays in various forms before. https://www.furaffinity.net/search/?q=ruaidri+bluejay That said, always down to draw more, I quite like bluejays. x3

“Vanilla (Smol Fox) and her horsey boyfriend sneakily fuck in the back room of the restaurant where Vanilla works.” Could be after closing hours, depending on how risky Vanilla is. Also, not an official part of the suggestion (pose is ultimately up to you), but I’ll just mention that counters are a great height for fucking, while storage racks could make a secure point for tying off rope. ;)
