Alright! Had to get some basic free video editing software to make this, then figure out how that works, then find a place where I can upload the file, then figure out how -that- works, but I think I can finally release this. x3

It's a pretty huge video, over 2 hours long. I sped things up as much as I could to shorten the length but if I took it much faster than this it became unwatchable. I don't really expect anyone to sit down and watch the whole thing beginning to end, but you can at least poke around and see parts of the process you find interesting. I doubt this will really be a great resource for learning from, but it's not really meant to be that... more of a documentation of the process for those interested.

There are parts where I started some process that never led to anything so there are sections of basically wasted time, and there are parts where I did some work only for blender to crash so I had to do it again, which means there are sections of repetition. But that's all part of the process I guess!

Anyway, without further ado, here's the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1G42hKpn0H5Hy0E51Vvq_-tYxIZBR8RIB/view?usp=sharing

I've never used google drive before so let me know if this works, and if you found it interesting do let me know! It's not a huge amount more work compared to not doing it so if there's interest I could make it a regular aspect of model making.

Wow, so much time and effort behind the scenes! Seeing this process was really cool, in my opinion. I've tried to dabble in Blender and seeing you do things I only just started to learn the names of when I was messing around with it is super humbling, ha. You've taken to the software way faster than I could have imagined! I personally would love to see videos like this more often!

"Sorry, you can't view or download this file at this time. Too many users have viewed or downloaded this file recently. Please try accessing the file again later. If the file you are trying to access is particularly large or is shared with many people, it may take up to 24 hours to be able to view or download the file. If you still can't access a file after 24 hours, contact your domain administrator." Looks like a download throttle.

Give 'er another try now? I just clicked it and it seemed to work here, but I am the owner so maybe it just lets me have it. x3

It is very interesting to watch the process. I do have a suggestion though. Break the video up into twenty minute segments. You can rar it all up into one file in the end for DL, or just let folks DL the segments as they want to watch them. A 12GB file is a lot of bandwidth if you have a lot of folks pulling it down. I looked at recoding it into h.265 ( webm ) to cut down the file size, I just haven't had time to throw Premiere at it yet.

Yeah, that's not a bad idea. I think I'll let this one go, but for future recordings I think I'll break it up into more pieces. Maybe one for each section- sculpting, retopo, painting, etc. That should help a bunch I think!
