That's a dumb as fuck title. If you've got a better one please do tell me. x3

It's been quite a while since I've drawn a picture of Gale getting off, poor guy's probably been really needing this.

I can feel I'm getting a touch rusty with how infrequently I paint these days, I'm definitely going to have to jump back into it more seriously at some point soon before I forget how to do everything, hah. But hopefully this looks alright for now! As always I'd love to know whatcha think. :3

"I'm definitely going to have to jump back into it more seriously at some point soon before I forget how to do everything" Like commissions? ;) You said you woul das soon as you'd finish "The Fluffer", then you stopped that for 3D.

I don't really have a specific idea for when I'll go back to working on 2D stuff more often, I just sort of have a general sense of what I feel like doing, and how the two different mediums are pulling at me. Currently 3D is pulling harder, but as I've gotten closer to being satisfied with my work and having made all the things I want to make, I can feel 2D slowly starting to win the fight a bit more. There are still some things I want to mess with in 3D, but I feel like it won't be terribly long now before the 2D urges win out and I take at least one set of commissions- but I've been wrong before, so we'll see I guess. :P

I voted for something else, but it is great to see Gale getting railed

Where do I even begin. I'll start with the lighting; the haze glow you did in here fits the scene so well, it's kind of the exact lighting situation you'd get as if you were taking a picture of the same perspective, with the window in the background. It doesn't take away any of the detail and adds to the 'reality' of the piece. I also have absolutely no idea how you got the wall behind Blue to look so perfectly uniform in watercolors. That alone speaks of your talent in the medium, but then again there's a million other things in here that are also worthy of your skill! Our handsome zebra top looks incredible, to say the least. His frame, build, stripes, markings and other 'zebra' features like the soft skin of the lips and nose to how you did the very slight yet amazingly perfect definition of his outer thigh muscles, which we can glimpse on the very left side of the piece. Loving everything about him! Gale gripping the sheets definitely portrays that he's at least a little over his 'usual' level of intensity, the huge size difference proving that even he has limits! Or the fact that he was rutted into covering himself even while caged, but you know... Do I spy a liiiittle bit of a belly bulge on Gale? It's just subtle enough to not be seen, but if you were intending for it to be there, I think you did a great job with it! Also I love how you did the very slight deformation on the sheets under Gale, again it adds to the 'reality' of the piece and feels right, meaning that it doesn't draw a viewer's eye and trigger a subconscious response of 'this is fiction', which I feel gets in the way of enjoying the piece fully. There is only one little bit that I have a question on. Gale's right footpaw; is it meant to be clenched? If we look at his left he has very prominent claws, and yet the right one doesn't have any, but also doesn't quite look like his toes would be curled, so maybe a bit of clarification on what you were going for there would be appreciated. I can't say enough good things about this one! The mess, the species, size difference, lighting, rendering, the audience, even the general composition of the piece with the lighting, colors, characters, perspective and placement... I love all your work, but some have just a bit of an edge above the others, and I think this is one of them. There's just something with the picture as a whole that sets it a step above, accidental or not. A balance of colors, accuracy of lighting and placement of characters that come together to make something special!

Really love how this turned out. Idea is super hot too 👀

I dunno, I kinda like the title. It sounds like a ride at Busch Gardens.

"Horsing Around"?

God I'm almost a week late to respond to this, I suck. x3 You may be surprised how much time in practising watercolours goes straight into just making things look clean, like that back wall. Getting neat textures and blurs and stuff is pretty easy, but getting them controlled is the hard bit. I still screw it up a lot, but that wall did come out pretty nice. x3 All that practice pays off I guess! I've never been a huge fan of bulging, but I did try to make it look a teeny tiny bit like it's bulging a little. It would be a bit unrealistic if it wasn't, really. :P Yeah, the toes are meant to be a bit clenched. I've never been good at drawing that right, I'll get 'er some day. Anywya, as always, thanks for all the super kind words man. :D I'm really glad you like this one!

Not sure that quite fits... he's not really a horse so the pun falls a bit flat. :P
