Helldivers 2 is the most disappointing game of the year so far. Yes, it's only February, but this game is still a bloody wreck! A sequel I was looking forward to, it's so broken and bad at being online that I cannot forgive it, and if you CLICK HERE you can experience my fullest contempt.

Bought the game and played a little of it, and enough friends care about it that I've been following the drama. The company who made it had no idea it would get this huge, and are having unforeseen issues even with the code scaling it up to meet demand. So I don't fault them for releasing a busted game when the busted thing is people trying to play it is 10x the number they expected. Having said that, this game should be pulled off of Steam until they can resolve these issues. People who have it can keep trying to load in (lord knows I've tried this week...), but they shouldn't be selling this online only game to new people until they are at a point they can keep up with demand. It's $50 to wait in a line to MAYBE be able to connect with friends, and that is not acceptable.

This is the first negitive review i have heard of the game, but i can see where you are coming from. I myself havent played but i have heard the server issues and bugs, though that seems like its all due to the massive amount of players and servers not able to handle it then any fault of the game itself. Seems a little harsh to give that low of a review but i understand it. Im more interested in all the good quotes coming from the ceo basically saying the opposite of most gaming ceos, like telling people wait to get the game till they fix issues, and how you need to earn the right to monetize a game
