The shameless race to the bottom with so-called Artificial Intelligence is only just getting started, and I have to thank to the fad's biggest advocates for being so inherently shady that arguing against them is practically Easy Mode. 

Let's talk about shady behavior, SAG-AFTRA, Mario, and why A.I. continues to be trouble.

Hi Jim, thanks for the AI video. I've been experimenting with this tech and I think you might be off the mark slightly here. You might want to check out how AI tech is going to, and is already, enabling indie devs. We are going to see some amazing things come out of the indy scene. It won't all be Pixel art anymore :o Anyway, if you want to talk LLM AI, send me a message. As a senior games programmer who has been experimenting with this tech for 9 months I may be of some use. Additionally, I have for many years considered your moral compass to be in perfect sync with my own. So I'm concerned to see you so negative about AI. It's just a tool. Though how it's used, by who and for what, is a whole different matter. I don't want to be on the wrong side of history here 😅

I hate the term AI. There is no intelligence involved. I don't expect AI to crash unfortunately as some of the deep learning enabled tools do provide useful services (ethical or not). I never expected NFTs and crypto to succeed because they were a solution in search of a problem that ultimately didn't exist.
