Your ol' pal Jim Sterling was at Valve HQ to talk about Steam's future, including Steam Direct, Curators, and what to do about certain fucknuts.

Presented for your enjoyment is my assessment of the meeting and my thoughts toward the future of Steam and potential LACK of future certain fucknuts have.

really interesting and nice addition to TBs Video. But my thought about the cheap games merely there for the trading cards... it doesn't matter if the get exposure or not within the steam ecosystem if forums are created merely with the intention to link to cheap games for the trading card business... or does it matter at all if the normal user doesn't get to see them within the steam ecosystem ? I surely wouldn't care, still shady business.

Steam Explorers sounds like a viable option in theory. However I see it too eventually becoming corrupt , influenced by outside means, or becoming highly too subjective. I don't want a "review" by Joe Public to determine if a game should be "green lit" or not. C'mon Steam you can't hire a QA team!? Really!?

Kravenar Games

Lol thank you sharing for this

small steps that wouldn't have been taken but for God's other Son (and some others)

If you fucked someone in a Boglin suit, would you be a Furry or would there need to be a new categorization?

Jim, I'm glad that Valve is giving you the recognition that you deserve for everything that you have done to improve Steam through external means, by showcasing the best and worst that Greenlight has to offer! I really hope that they listen to you and the others and make Steam a good place to shop for games again. I myself am now at the point where I might say that UPlay and Origin are better storefronts, they may demand that you take a corporate cock up your butt, but at least they aren't full of shit.

I get what you mean, but, please stay away from Uplay and Origin. Please. They're not worth supporting.
