Gatekeepers in every Creative industry are due for a reckoning. We are witnessing the actual rotting out and failing of the game industry as we have known it, but I want to believe it's a precursor to a new generation of people who are completely fed up with the bullshit to do something different (and amazing) with their talent. I am hopeful that integrity will come back into fashion even if it requires a bit of a creative-industry apocalypse to achieve that. Nothing lasts forever, and sometimes that is a really great, hopeful thing.

So many have said they don’t care about the work place conditions, which must be disheartening for the workers. Unions are long overdue, since it seems like the only way change can happen is from within the industry itself.
