This generation has seen a number of big-budget games go multiplayer-only. This isn't a problem in theory, but the practice has left more than a little to be desired.

With Titanfall, Evolve, Star Wars Battlefront and Rainbow Six Siege all dumping campaigns, The Jimquisition looks at why this is a problem, and why it shouldn't be.

Flogger? I think -think- it's called a flail. Anyway, it was alright to get siege at £30 and Vegas thrown in. Not a flail, thanks. The more you know! ;)

Interestingly enough, the way these games are designed to make DLC and Season Passes more desirable make the whole game less desirable to me. I do not buy DLC unless it's on sale somewhere at a significant amount off, and i NEVER EVER BLOODY EVER buy a season pass

Given that I rarely play anything multiplayer, the change is yet one more way for the industry to turn down my money. Also, the noises I made when you whipped out the flogger were probably audible to dogs three states away. Yowza. How do I get me one of those?
