Dark Souls Remastered finally came out for Nintendo Switch, and it's... okay. I'm not insulted by the graphics or audio because I expected worse, but they're definitely a step back compared to other versions.

Still, I got my handheld Dark Souls, even if I don't see quite so many players to enjoy it with.

This is my biggest issues with AAA games on the switch. A game as old as this ones is and really looks and feels so dated to where it's pushing the hardware making the Switch feel much less impressive. As you said, it's not surprising at all, but this was my initial problem when the specs were even announced and were not even 2 years into this console and it's very dated machine. I still love my Switch and play a ton of indie games on it but other than that, it feels a bit past it's prime already.

It looked like Jeff wanted to restock their Estus but didn't know they couldn't access a bonfire in co-op. Now I'm all nostalgic for experiencing Dark Souls for the first time. :)

Every time I hear about an old game being ported to the switch, I am reminded of the GPD Win 2, a handheld PC that can play some recentish big-name games on the lowest settings at a usable framerate, and I wonder how that compares to the same game(s) on Switch.
