Sorry I never shared this to Patreon last night but I had to go to hospital following a life threatening allergic reaction. I am alive and well though. I don't expect this to delay my usual work though a few reviews may be a tad late. Anyway enjoy!

Bloodborne Review - Die, Die Again

Drink deep and enjoy the thrill of the hunt. There's prey that needs slaughtering. Though classified as action role-playing games, there's a very serious case to be made for gathering the Souls series under the umbrella of survival horror.

It must have been an allergic reaction to the pure joy brought on by exposure to Bloodborne. I know how difficult that can be for Brits. Joking aside, glad to hear you are well. Hope you have a speedy recovery.

I'm 3 days late. No one will see a comment on the WordPress site. I really didn't think this game would be a reskinned/retreaded/yet again renamed version of Dark, I mean Demon's Souls. I expected it to be more cinematic with a fixed Jack the Ripper style protagonist, since that's what From usually does at this point in the life time of one of its formats. Anyway, it sounds crazy but From has been downhill ever since the PS3 generation. See my Creator page where I maintain the From Software RPG Maker, which people will probably eventually use to make their own Dark Souls games. Very soon I'm going to be unleashing a new script (gameplay) editor that will be the centerpiece of the toolset. I even plan to make a Creation page for it.
