I almost fell out of my chair laughing over the part about the silver knight archers in Anor Londo! Great video.

Firstly, I loved Fahrenheit and Heavy Rain, dind't get into/finish Beyond Two souls. Now I loved this game, and while I disagree with much of the comments made, I'm not gonna be a dick about it, the reality is Jim is right, 100%, correct, this is his experience and his thoughts on the game. Truth be this game is long and while I've finished it once, I am hesitant to replay as it is a slow, very slow burn to get started, that being said, I felt the game nailed the balance with Markus, and while many feel the Kara bit was too slow, I personally didn't mind it and that is the crux of my point, Personally. This is Jim Sterlings personal thoughts, and not a review, he has stated time and again, his Jimpressions are not designed to be more than his personal critique and not his journalistic critique. So while i loved Detroit: Become Human and even cried at the finale (I got the Sad Kara river ending) I am not so dumb as to not see this game is not for everyone, I would however like to counter balance on one point, recently I was telling a friend that I believe as he loved Fallout and Fallout 2, he would most likely love Detroit as like Fallout and Fallout 2 there a myriad of branching paths and narratives. I did point out that it was primarily walking around, examining things and talking to NPC's, with lots of quick time events interspersed, to which he replied, oh, like sort of a modern evolution of Point and Click. And I realised, yeah, Quantic Dream pretty much make Point and click Adventures for the modern era, think about it, busy work, chores, picking up objects and combining them to progress, going back and forth from screen to screen (in this case area to area), and let's not pretend some of the best PnC games took hours to complete, unless you used a Walkthrough then it suddenly became much quicker, sometimes taking less than an hour. So while again I agree and disagree with many of the points Jim raises, it's only his opinion, I respect it as his opinion and while this time I disagree with certain statements I have no desire to judge him or withdraw my patreon. I guess my point is, everyone is entitled to their opinion, Quantic Dream games are imo more niche than mainstream, despite Sony pushing them as System sellers, and I hope they keep making games and I also hope that one day the internet will wake up and let people have their own opinion, one of the those will happen, sadly not the one that really matters.

I disagree with you on this one. I really like QDs games and this one is right up my alley. That said, each to their own... I have played games that other people said were the best ever and... well... to me... they were tripe and some people, from my perspective, just don't understand Kojima's work and only complain about the length of the cutscenes.

This games racist and made by shitty people happy to see some people not singing it's praises.

Thanks Jim, been a fun ride. Seems I don't fit the audience anymore.
