I've been looking forward to this one for a while. I'm still on a big Resi kick, I loved the first Revelations, and also BARRY! Sadly, this debut episode is just... cynical. The episodic structure makes no sense and the microtransactions are shameless. It's also very dated, or at the very least, feels unsuited to consoles/PC. It's okay... but that's all it is.

Haha, they said "Jill sandwich" out loud. It's like they KNOW! Developer: Capcom Publisher: Capcom Format: PC, PS4, Xbox One (reviewed) Released: February 24, 2015 Copy provided by publisher Is there any actual reason why Resident Evil Revelations 2 is episodic?

Yeah, the episodic thing seems to be them just doing it because they can? Like, it sort of made more sense when it was a handheld game, smaller downloads are nice for that kind of thing. But these ones are coming out weekly, it might as well have not been episodic. But still, Barry! And Claire!

I *was* pleased with how they're portraying Barry so far. He's been made more serious to fit in, but he's still hamming his delivery and the hints we get of his clueless fathering make sense.
