Nintendo E-readers also used to be a thing. They were essentially the same thing, albeit shittier because they were flimsy cards.

I haven't watched the video because I'm at work, but you mentioned boglins so I had to come and say they were the best thing about my childhood.

The only thing back in the day I was collecting was Micro Machines. Anyone else remember them or collected as well? Okay putting that aside, I personally love the Amiibo. I just had to snatch up a Link because LoZ is my favorite Nintendo franchise.
