This week's episode is brought to you by Sterdust, a totally original wrestling persona that WE OWN. We OWN it, WWE!

Anyway, in an industry of liars, even the good guys lie, and those lies can be good lies.

But what happens when lies become so commonplace and acceptable? Then the bad guys lie... and they can't understand why they're not the good guys.

Spandex oh Spandex

Kraken

Well, we wondered what all that spandex was going towards, and now we know. And we can never un-know. ;)

I love it. I hope we'll keep seeing Sterdust too!

Long live Sterdust! #GearboxIsGuilty

Not even kidding I doubled my monthly contribution. Love the direction you're taking all this and the effort you're putting into the new characters is great. I'm really happy you're able to make an independent living off of this.

it feels like the whole AAA game industry suffers from Münchhauser syndrome

All that purple makes me remember Saint's Row. And remembering Saint's Row makes me sad because it makes me remember Agents of Mayhem. And that makes me remember ham and I feel slightly less sad.

Awesome costume, but I personally don’t find wresting “I’m tha man!” personas very interesting. Great montage of No Man’s Sky BS at the end!

I’m okay with them not confirming products in development, as I think confirming features that aren’t real is worse.

Kraken

It occurred to me that probably came off as unnecessarily and even meanly catty. I'll be honest- the more theatrical parts of the Jimquisition and H'Ardcore don't really play to me. But clearly other parts of your audience enjoy them. And they allow you to retain interest in a job that requires you to produce content week in and week out- I know that's hard, and can easily set you up for burnout. And it takes a certain amount of courage to dress up in a spandex pro wrestler's outfit, no question. So... shine on, you crazy diamond.

Philipp Roensch

It's also an xtra long episode, I love it!

Hopefully Cody gets a laugh outta this, although no Zelda means he may not care.

The lightsaber footage and Peter Molyneux list had tears squirting out of my eyes, i was laughing so hard.

That was one of your awesome ones. I thank God for you, Jim "Fucking" Sterling.

Twit In A Hat

Ah, sweet sweet Sterling spandex boob jiggle. I mean Sterdust! Stardust!!

Does the female assassin thing from ubisoft count? I always got the feeling that was less they were 'lying' so much as towing the game industry illusion that female protags are somehow more resources to make and the negative press that got them rolled that back? Granted that's just a different kind of lie I guess, and given the thrust of this entire piece it's a meaningless, almost semantic distinction.

Could you please officially found the company "shattered chungus ltd" from the beginning of the video. This so made my day. Couldnt stop laughing.

Anonymous

it's the industry that created you, so in some sense we should be thanking them.

Great episode, great message, please only wear that costume a maximum of 2 more times. Preferably never again at all. But if 2k and WWE games keep doing industry BS, there may be no choice. "We do not choose our destiny, yet we must do our duty," no?
