Soon you will be getting more bang for your buck! And a related note about commissions (Patreon)

Some big exciting changes are coming to the current tiers! You will be getting more benefits, and your monthly charge won't be changing.  Before I get to those changes, I want to discuss some things (the TLDR would be The New Changes Coming in September section). 

Background info:

While right now I have been very busy with things in my personal life as I told you all about, in mid-September, things are changing! 

Audios have always been a full-time job for me, but the only dedicated time I had (pre-summer) was 2.5 hours each weekday, plus five nights a week (not the best time for me to work after being busy all day long), and trying to get editing done during the day while working on my other obligations, which meant I was constantly interrupted at least a dozen times an hour, and my attention was shared between editing and other things.  

Starting in mid-September, I will be have five 6 hour chunks dedicated to working on audios. Plus, I am hoping to have three nights in addition to that. Having those large chunks to work undisturbed and uninterrupted should be much better for my productivity. So While I might be putting in the same number of hours into my work or less, my hope is to get more done. This means I will be posting a lot of work like I did prior to this summer!

A note about commissions:

My commission prices have always been very competitive by being the lowest prices around. It's no longer feasible for me to keep my prices so low. I did my pricing back when I began monetizing in August 2020. At that point, I had no idea how busy I would become with GWA/commissions/Patreon/Gumroad. So much time was being put in that it was time I didn't even have, so that meant less time for me (I no longer had any free time) and everyone else in my life. This job has paid a lot less than minimum wage too. 

I am self-taught when it comes to making audios and have spent a lot of time experimenting and learning. My sound quality has changed a lot, because of all the hours I put in learning how to keep making my audios better and better. That also includes learning how to edit and do different sound effects. I am still always learning too.

And as the money came in, I began investing it back into my audios. I've bought a lot of new equipment, software, monthly subscriptions for sound effects and storage, and I have paid for a class that is coming up soon. 

Last but not least, I have a degree in theater that cost me a lot of money haha.

Because of all these factors, commission prices are going to increase. I will however include discounts for patrons (to be determined), which brings me to the following...

The new changes coming in September:

• The $10 and up tiers will be able to attend a monthly live audio recording session! I fuck up A LOT while recording, so get ready to hear tons of bloopers! The completely edited fill will be posted on one of my platforms at a later date.
• The $20 and up tiers will be able to attend a monthly Discord chat where I'll be on the mic! I'll share what I'm working on and upcoming plans, ask me questions, and chat!
• Discounts on commissions for the $10 and up tiers (TBD, higher discount for higher tier)
• I have a lot of Patreon audios at this point, so I will begin highlighting older ones and telling you what I love about them.
