As you can see above , it has been over two years now and i  think i am finally finished with the project. The 0.96 Release was the debugged release and is also the final release canidate.

And the best of all , i never charged anyone. No one payed a cent for AATOFL (Except me). Mostly because i hate german paperwork.
Maybe i will do this in the future but i only want to do this if i either have no other choice (loosing my job) or maybe if it goes over 2000$ one day... maybe...

 At least i finished a 3D porn game 😠 

(My english is a big flaw in the game.... i get it... others never finish a game)

A game with 

  • Over 24k VN frames 
  • Mostly created over the weekends for over two years
  • With over 2000 selfmade animations (850 Aemi , 790 Vivian , 500 Victor) (Not counted all the device animations. 2000 multiplied by the  average length of 100 frames (3.3 seconds) = over 110 minutes of animations...
  • Used a selfmade VN framework wich is capable of creating a simple savegame as well as a simple story mod integration
  • Some minigames (poker , towerdefense)
  • A simple AI life integration with dynamic and interruptable events 

Mh.. i guess my game is just plain bad if barely anyone is intersted in it.


Anyway... so how do we continue from here on out ?

I have several ideas , i would like to stay with robots. Maybe a robot wich looks like this one.

And i want to build in more generic things into the game but.. uff.. currently i have only vague ideas what i want to do exactly.

Btw : Last friday i deciced to not create a friday post to see the reactions about it. And well.. since no one cared i will stick to one post a week.

Furthermore i also updated my PC this weekend :

  • CPU : 8700K
  • RAM : 32 GB DDR4 3000
  • GC : GTX 1080 ti
  • 500 GB SSD drive ONLY for the next game

So.. what to do next.. first i need to update all my unityscripts to C# and then i will... just start to create a game. Like i always did.

As i mentioned , i am just not able to sell unrealistic dreams of games wich are impossible to make. Insteadt i rather create games which i am actually able to create.

Hi Kerni! It is sad to read you say that no one is interested in your game. Because this is not the case. Maybe your game lack hype as it is been on public for several years. I personally haven't played recent releases of your game not because I lot interest, but because I haven't really got much time this summer. I think you can blame the lack of feedback from your supporters on summer

I for one really enjoyed your game! Your English is fine, far better than my German and most people would agree that the game quality far outweighed a few minor issues i n grammar. In the future, you can rely on many of us to help with English if you need it. I for one will be glad to assist. Please, just keep writing. I am sure a lot of people enjoyed it. I sure did! As for where to go now, it's up to you to decide :) I'm sure you've learned a lot working on AATOFL and you are on of the few developers that actually delievers content very regularly and communicate very well with your supporters (well, technically supporters, as you haven't charged us a dime so far, so you don't really obligated to update us on progress of your project). Whatever you decide to do next, I have complete faith in you and your ability to complete your project (whatever it might be), and I will continue to support you

Hey, what you have done is amazing. Rome was not build in a day. Most of us here would not be able to start, carry on or even finish such project like yours. And even if this stays only as sort of hobby of yours so be it. There is a lot of people that just play and don't coment or say anything (I'm one of those, so sorry for that) but if you stand here at the end and look back at those two years and think it was worth the trouble, carry on. There will always be many people who will silently enjoy what you have done and what you do. Thanks for leaving and shearing part of your life with us.

Firstly, I apologise for not making note of your lack of post, or being more pro-active, but I do work, and of late, work has been kicking my ass. And as such, I haven't been paying attention to much beyond work, and what little time I have is limited. Second, you may be jaded by our lack of posts, or reaction to things, but you are mistaken, we LOVE your work, and what you've done is amazing, you are one of the FEW who actually created a complete game (regardless of bugs) and one of even FEWER who created a game with such a heavy level of interaction! For me, all I can say here is, WELL DONE! and THANK YOU! for creating something far beyond my expectations, it is GREAT! and I look forward to your future projects!

I very rarely post anything on the game I support, I probably should. But I wanted to let you know following this game since I discovered it during it's early development it's been an amazing ride. I've enjoyed every minute of playing AATOFL. Easily one of the best adult games I've ever played and that it was done by one person you should feel extremely accomplished.

Congratulations! This is an awesome H game, and you did a great job. As for having a small following: I am 100% sure that the problem isn't the fetish content. I've sent links around to people, and the reaction I got was "wow, the spelling is all messed up, this must be a shitty game." People are fucking morons, unfortunately, and they assume that a game that hasn't been spellchecked must be low quality everywhere. People that stick around and play it a bit agree that it's freakin' great. If you get some revised texts with fixed grammar/spelling and incorporate them into the actual release (not as a plugin, but as the official text), I am very confident that you'll hit a bigger audience.

I do love your game. I have learned through supporting others that just because I don't see a normal 'update' post, it doesn't mean the creator(s) aren't creating; it just means everyone has their own lives and everyone always is running behind. So I don't bother anyone when posts aren't on a scheduled 'time' successfully. Thank you very much for all the hard work you have put into this game :)

I really like reading your pre and post weekend logs. Personally i think other devs should do the same sort of communication. But you don't need to push yourself for two posts a week if you don't want to.

The game is freakin awesome! I really like your setting with robots and machinery, that's cool stuff. And i can't believe it's almost done. I mean i've seen a lot of games die at the stage of alpha 0.3-0.5. You have outdone most of the developers out there, good job.

I want to echo the thoughts of the others in the comments. I can't remember where I found this originally but while playing it I couldn't help but question why there are so few adult games with this level of quality. That is not to say that its perfect but given the amount of content from a single person that is easily forgiven. Quite simply, you're the kind of creator I look for on here. Someone that pushes themselves to be better at their craft, makes unique and original content, respects their patrons, and generally deserves to succeed in what they do. Keep it up and I'll be happy to throw money your way every month.

Amazing game Kerni!!! By far the BEST xxx game I have ever played! My only two wishes for your next game are that it has lots of BDSM and that it uses realistic characters (no monsters, aliens etc.). Pretty much similar to this one but with a different story. I wish you all the best and to have lots of fun creating your next project. You have my support!

Sometimes, lack of feedback is a good thing, people complain loudly, but praise quietly; if you're not hearing much, it may just mean people are enjoying the game. Your game is amazing, don't think that anything you see or don't see here means it's not. I play/test many of these games (there are about 50 on my desktop right now), and your game is one of maybe 3 that I'm excited about at all. What you've done is amazing, and 2 years is a LOT quicker than many many of the games I have watched, there's nothing wrong with that. All you lack is a good way of getting the word out about your game, and that is something that can be fixed.

You can extract all the text via the story mod extraction process (F3 ingame and then using the story mod framework). Pervy rouge is already creating a spellchecked version of the story but the sheer amount of lines will take some time. Best thing to do is to go to Discord and ask him to give you a little section wich you are able to *spellcheck*.
