I saw there was lots of curiosity about how the pledges have grown, and Wookey asked to see a graph of pledges over time.

The blue bar represents the pledge figure for the first chapter posted per month. It lowers with each subsequent post as people reach their pledge/month limit (I'm guessing, but don't know for certain).

Wow Feb was a great month for you

March? But we're only three days in!

You deserve the patronage - keep up the great work. Especially important if you are going to hook up with a worthy artist to provide graphic references throughout your journey. I can imagine titles like "Tiger with her Cubs" (sorry couldn't help myself - green babies,) "Sisters" (Jade and Alyssa playign with John way back when,) "Purple Faery" (you guessed it - when John wakes up and she is floating naked above him), "John's Moonshot" (when they blow up the Quantum Annihilator by sending the mining ship into it,) "80 Sexy Engineers" (some with short black, some with long white hair,) "Cobra Loses His Venom" (Rachel kills Colonel Morgan in his mech,) "Irillith Copes" (when Irillith is playing with herself in her cabin in an effort to not fall for John, ) and so many others. You have provided us so many exciting scenes that could be translated into awesome pieces of art.

Tefler, what I'd like to see, although I'm not sure if you wish to share, would be a chart showing amount pledged per month per chapter, vs. amount paid out per month per chapter. In other words, let's say that you were pledged $1200 per chapter (for round figures), and you released three chapters that month, and you received $2400 for that month. The following month, you were pledged $1500 per chapter, and you released 3 chapters, and you received $3000 for that month. This could happen if the first chapter earned $1200 in the first month, the second earned $800, and the third, $400, whereas the first chapter earned $1500 in the second month, the second chapter $1000 in the second month, and the third chapter earned $500 in the second month. This can easily happen with the way that Patreon handles pledges and allows maximum limits per month on the pledged amounts, so, again, this is what you have to look at to ascertain your actual income stream. If you're looking at an *average* of $1500 per chapter per month, you'll have to take this into account, and that first chapter better be significantly more than $1500. Congratulations on the growth so far!!

I would love a hero March of John and the girls in paragon armor moving in to save the mother fucking day. ;) doesn't need to be dripping in sex.

Okay, did some math. Our current pledge per patron amount has jumped from $1.60 four days ago to now $1.71 per. With this new figure, we would need 877 patrons to reach our $1500 goal, and since we already have 625, we only need 252 more. So, again holding our patron growth rate at roughly 10 new patrons per day, that has us reaching our goal in about 25 days. Which means we're still on track to reach the $1500 goal by the end of March.

Love the growth, Tefler. I'm very much looking forward to seeing that growth continue as well. One of the creators that I'm a Patron for has their own website and forum (BadKittyGames), so I shilled a little bit over there just to kind of get the word out a bit. Slightly different community, since they're mostly focused on erotic video games, but I think there are probably some who would be interested. Another community that's pretty massive, that might be a good place to get the word out would be Fenoxo's community. They're more TF-centric, in terms of the content that they produce, but the community itself is pretty diverse. I haven't spent much time there in the last couple of years though, since they finished up with Corruption of Champions, so there might be someone else better-suited to doing the shilling there lol. Fenoxo has a MASSIVE community, however, so tapping into that a bit just makes good sense (5176 Patrons pledging $27k/mo atm). ~Morningfrost

DUDE! You're missing out on TiTS! Trials in Tainted Space is amazing! It is leap and bounds more well thought out, and worked out that CoC. They just released the latest public build of the game today.

Wookey

Just a reminder to keeping plugging Tefler in comments section in Literotica and Alt Stories. Lots of readers who should be easy to convert

Need more chapters

Yes, waiting for Ch.72. Hopefully tefler will post it by monday

Wookey

So close....642 and growing. C'mon guys and girls, put the word out. Let's get to 750 pre-Ch 73

Wookey

BTW there is a new level "Deity"

Evan

Yes, and five people have already pledged to it! I find that incredible, that people will be donating $300-$1200 per year to Tefler for his story. I wish I had that kind of disposable income. I am confused by the benefits for it, though... Includes Early access to my work Join the patron community Patron-only content feed I thought that all Patrons were receiving those benefits, already. Am I missing something?

Wookey

650 members and growing....

Hinterlands Man

If he writes two chapters a month that's $120 a year for Kintark dragons, still a fair sum. Could be possible, heck maybe 4 chapters a month if writing full time. I hope Tefler takes his talent and really goes mainstream Sci-fi though.

Hey, Tefler I may have missed it elsewhere, what's the status on the new computer?

Evan

Tefler said around the end of the week, hopefully.

Dear god ch.3 already!!! I am a junky without a fix!

Anonymous

Lol by 3 I meant 72!

Morningfrost

Tefler is already averaging more than 2 chapters per month (probably closer to 3, I think). Once he goes full-time, I think he could easily average 4 chapters per month. Also, I'd rather he didn't go mainstream Sci-Fi. One thing to consider is that even if one goes mainstream, with a book publishing deal and everything, he might not make all that much money unless he writes a best seller or something. Here on Patreon, he gets a steady income that's pretty reliable, and that income is on an upward trajectory. "According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, salaried authors and writers made an average income of around $65,960 in 2010. Freelance novelists, though, may make more or less than this, depending on their contracts with their publishers and how many of their books sell." Here on Patreon...let's assume that Tefler probably makes about 2 chapters' worth of income a month at the moment. While he averages around 3 releases, people hit pledge tiers so the amount received for subsequent chapters is generally less. However, right now, that would put Tefler at roughly $27,300 in income, writing part-time. So doing this in just his free time, he's already earning half of what the average full-time writer would make, and the income is going up every day as new Patrons arrive and pledge. ~Morningfrost

Ouch - Thunder has it so bad he can't even remember numbers anymore! (said as I shudder with withdrawal symptoms)

Jedi Khan

At least he doesn't have a split personality haunting him like a ghost. Oh, so now I'm a split personality? I guess that's a step up from just a voice in your head. Shut it, crazy.

Jim lynch

Wow 72 finished can't wait for tomorrow now thank you tefler

Wookey

All this waiting fro ch 72 reminds me of being a kid on a long car journey.... are we there yet. 15 minutes later... are we there yet.

Jedi, do you get group rates on psychotherapy ?

Anonymous

if not I should ask for a discount :)

Jedi Khan

Nah, I think the docs charge on a per body basis, not a per voice/personality.

Wookey

679 and counting. Anyone told the Alt Stories and Literotica communities that Ch 72 is out yet?

Wookey
