January Status Report (Patreon)

Hello everyone, and happy new year. A quick update on what we're going to do this month.

To start with, our oneshot - In which Bakarina makes herself into a true idiot via magic! Obviously, she's going to make an attempt at a flag avoiding strategy that is going to go hugely awry and I'm sure that none of her accidental harem will take advantage *at all*.

Next up, we have four regular stories this month. A quick summary of what I'm aiming to do with them. If you have ideas or suggestions of your own, please don't hold back! Share in the comments, or send me a message.

Furinkan Boy's Club: Ranma meets with Kodachi and they hit it off. I feel that the most obvious way forward is for Kodachi to see both boy form Ranma and Akane at some point, completely miss the existence of the curse, and then start going for both of them, while Ranma (in girl form) obliviously gives her advice on how to seduce his boy form. Akane is facepalming hard, but also taking notes. Probably doesn't like Kodachi that much though.

Negima Stultus Pulchram: Ayaka's roomies return, discover the three bimbos waiting for them. Natsumi is tricked into saying the phrase, but that just gives Chizuru a chance to use her mothering instincts to keep the four bimbos from getting out of hand while she tries to work out a way to warn the others.

Urusei Yatsura Level Upper: Ryoko makes the bold play of having Ataru replaced by one of her Kuroko wearing an Ataru mask in class so she can 'prove a point to him'. This does not go well for her - or rather, it sort of does? Meanwhile, Shinobu is using her own Level Upper to develop her seduction skills for later use.

Croce di Eros: Index wasn't normally involved in this next part as she wasn't present in Touma's place when he was picked up. As she was there, she's been moved elsewhere for her own protection while Touma helps out. Index doesn't like this - and uses something she'd bought the other day to break out. Meanwhile, Veritas is panicking because the girls are meeting up with him and he cannot find Touma anywhere. He attempts to keep them distracted for long enough that he can 'have fun' with them.

In addition to this, another page of Mercury's Turning the Tables will be loaded tomorrow, and two more pages are due for Cologne's section of Mariko's New Team on the 14th and 28th. As for the 21st, I've decided to make Asia and Koneko's section of the 3D comic script I put up recently and that will go up then.

There are also some scripts due this weekend, and two weeks after that. As we're getting to the end of some of those series, I'll be putting in scripts for 3D comics to vote on! They're already seeing some success as it is.

Last month I wound up not having the time to do the prose version of Mariko's chapter of Mariko's New Team. I should have the time to do so this month.

Finally are the commissions. Not as many of them this month as compared to last month, but everyone that is due one has been messaged. If you think you're due a story update but haven't received a message, check your patreon messages - or get back to me. If I'd messaged you in a previous month and you didn't pick up a request, you can still make one if you want. Again, message me - I can see message history so I'll be able to see if you're due something.

I think that is everything for the time being. Here's hoping 2023 winds up being an improvement on the decade so far - though trends indicate not. I hope to hear from you guys for feedback and suchlike! Please do make suggestions for any of the above if you have specific thoughts or ideas for any of them.
