Script - Mariko's New Team Rouge (Patreon)

We have a pretty obscure character joining the cheerleading team this time around. Rouge! She is cursed with the Spring of Drowned Asura, which makes her quite a dangerous enemy. Below is the script, please enjoy and make suggestions if you can think of any improvements.

Two weeks from now, I will post the script for Akari's chapter. Two weeks after that? Vote below to pick!

Rouge

Page 1: Rouge and Herb (female form) are in a dragon themed throne room. Herb on a throne in her usual attire, Rouge is kneeling on the floor reverentially. The shot for the first panel should be angled behind Herb's throne and a little to the left, so we can see that Nabiki and Kasumi in their cheerleader uniforms are waiting to step out.

Rouge: Your Majesty. It is an honour to meet you like this.

Herb: Think nothing of it.

Nabiki(whisper): Ohh... She's cuter than I remember!

Kasumi(whisper) Shush, shush!

Herb: We have heard that you are cursed with the Spring of Drowned Asura.

Rouge thinks about her cursed form and blushes a bit.

Rouge: Y-Yes, she is quite a handful sometimes.

Herb: Yes, my advisors are concerned your cursed form could cause a forest fire.

Rouge: Oh dear! I'm sure I wouldn't do that!

Herb rises from her throne

Herb: It is clear that your current method of self control is insufficient. Some mutual friends have come up with a better solution.

Rouge: Pardon? Mutual friends?

Herb snaps her fingers.

Out comes Nabiki and Kasumi on either side of Herb, cheering away, while Herb stands with legs apart and hands on her hips. Her general demeanour should be like a cheerleader captain.

Herb: Ready, girls?

Nabiki and Kasumi: Ra, ra! It's our dream! Come and join our cheering team!

Rouge: Oh? Nabiki and Kasumi...?

Cue Rouge in her new cheerleader uniform, looking around confused.

Rouge: Goodness. This seems quite strange.

Nabiki, Kasumi, and Herb all cheer around Rouge.

N+K+H: Here's the truth, here's the facts! Cheering will help you relax!

Rouge gives it a try.

Rouge: But, I suppose it's all in good fun.

N+K+H: Four arms makes your back a mess, cheering melts away the stress!

Rouge starts getting really into it and cheers alongside the rest of them.

Rouge: Oh! Ohhh, I can feel it! The pain in my back is melting away!

N+K+H: C-H-E-E-R! Soon you'll be a cheering star!

While cheering, Rouge bumps a table

All four: Time to pick this up a gear, I love to cheer and cheer and -

Rouge causes a vase to spill over her, tipping water on her - and turning her into her cursed form.

Nabiki: Uh oh!

Rouge's cursed form looks down at herself. She doesn't look happy!

Rouge 1: What am I...

Rouge 2: What is this?

Rouge 3: Something's weird...

Kasumi: Herb, is your palace fire insured?

Herb: Hrm. I'm rather certain that it's up to date...

Rouge's cursed form starts to cheer away! Each of her arms creates a fireball that she waves around like pompoms.

Rouge 1: Hey, hey! Look here!

Rouge 2: Come on girls, it's time to -

Rouge 3: -Cheer!

Rouge 2: Hey, you stepped on my line!

Rouge 3: I wasn't gonna have anything to say! You never let me join in!

Rouge 1: Yay! Cheering is the B-E-S-T!

Kasumi: Oh my, that was a close one.

Herb: Hrmph! It would've made for an interesting fight.

Nabiki (sweatdrop): Maybe not when we're around?
